Privacy Policy

Last updated October 30, 2026

This policy covers this website, run by Wyvern Dev. It explains what the site collects, why, where it is kept, and when it is deleted. In short: only what you type into the contact form, only to answer you, and it is deleted on a schedule. If we work together, invoices are kept longer because the law requires business records.

What I collect

When you send the contact form, I store:

  • your name and email address;
  • your business name, if you give one;
  • the boxes you ticked, the budget range if you picked one, and your message;
  • the emails I send you about it, any replies you send that I add to the conversation, and my own notes about the project.

If we agree on a project, I may also send you quotes and invoices. For those I keep your name, email, business name, what the invoice is for, the amounts, and whether and how it was paid (for a card payment, Stripe's payment reference).

That's all. There is no account to create, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts. The site sets no cookies for visitors. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie for my own dashboard.

To stop spam and abuse, the server keeps a short-lived count of form submissions per IP address and per email address. These counts live in memory only, are never written to the database, and are cleared within 24 hours.

Why

To read your message, reply to it, and, if we work together, keep track of the project. I don't use your details for anything else. I don't sell them, rent them or add you to a mailing list. The only emails you get are a confirmation that your message arrived and my replies.

Where it is kept

On the server that runs this website, in a database that only I can reach, over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Nightly backups are kept on the same kind of protected storage. Email passes through my email provider when it is sent.

Card payments (Stripe)

If you pay an invoice by card, you do it on a payment page run by Stripe, Inc., which processes the payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach this website or me. To set up the payment, this site sends Stripe the invoice number, what it is for, the amounts and your email address. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy, including the records it must keep by law. The private link to your invoice is long, random and unlisted; anyone who has it can see the invoice, so don't share it.

How long

Each message, and the conversation around it, is deleted automatically 2 years after its last activity (the last email, status change or note). The site checks for expired records twice a day. Backups roll over within 14 days, so a deleted record is gone from them soon after.

Quotes and invoices are kept for 7 years from when they were made, for tax and accounting records, even if the conversation itself is deleted sooner. After that they are deleted automatically. A paid invoice can't be deleted before then.

Want the rest gone sooner? Ask and I'll delete it.

Your choices

You can ask to see what I have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Use the contact form or reply to any email from me. I'll answer by email.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
