Terms of Use
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website, run by Wyvern Dev. By using the site you agree to them. They are about the website only.
Building a project together
Nothing on this site is an offer or a contract for work. Sending the contact form doesn't commit either of us to anything. Every project is quoted separately, and the scope, price, schedule, which server or hosting account the site will run on (yours, in your name), and ownership of the finished work are agreed in writing for that project before any work starts. Wyvern Dev doesn't host client sites.
Quotes, invoices and payments
- A quote shows the price for the work it describes. It becomes binding only once we both agree to it in writing.
- An invoice is due as stated in our written agreement. A deposit invoice is a part payment toward the total; what happens to a deposit if a project stops is set out in that agreement.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe on its own payment page, under Stripe's terms. The amount you pay is the amount on the invoice, set by Wyvern Dev, in US dollars. Your card details are never sent to this website.
- You get an emailed receipt when a payment is recorded. Payments by cash, check or bank transfer are recorded by hand and receipted the same way.
- If you think you were charged by mistake or twice, reply to your receipt and I'll sort it out, including a refund through Stripe where one is due. Please contact me before disputing a charge with your bank.
Using the site
- Use the contact form for real inquiries. Don't use it to send spam, advertising, or anything unlawful, threatening or abusive.
- Don't try to break into, overload or disrupt the site, its dashboard or its server, and don't scrape it in bulk.
- Only send information you have the right to share.
Ownership and license
The text, design, logo and code of this website belong to Wyvern Dev. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy the design, text or wyvern mark for your own use without written permission.
Business names and screenshots in "Recent work" belong to those businesses and are shown only to describe work done for them. Links to their sites go to pages Wyvern Dev doesn't control, and their own terms and policies apply there.
What you send through the form stays yours. You allow me to store and use it only to answer you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Copyright concerns
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright or trademark, send the details through the contact form (what the material is, where it appears, and how to reach you) and I'll look into it and take it down where appropriate.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. I try to keep it accurate and available, but I can't promise it will always be online, error-free or up to date.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, Wyvern Dev isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses that come from using this website. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
